MSc in Green Chemistry & Sustainable Industrial Technology

An innovative masters course, run in collaboration with a range of companies and organisations that manufacture or use chemicals or are involved in chemicals management and policy. The course will equip graduates with an understanding of the drives for sustainability, and the necessary skills in green chemistry for a career in areas including research, process development, environmental and legal services, consultancy and government. The course was the first of its kind to be accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Green Chemistry Research Project

Entry requirements

  • At least a 2:2, or overseas equivalent, in a relevant discipline
  • If English is not your first language, you would need to meet our English language requirements.


Fees and funding 2019/20

  • UK/EU: £8,580
  • Overseas: £21,540


Funding opportunities are available with our MSc and Bridge Scholarships. Early applications are recommended.

UK Government Loans are available to eligible students for MSc study.
