Distance Learning

The need for rigorous evaluation of healthcare is increasingly recognised worldwide. An important type of evaluation is the randomised controlled clinical trial. This programme provides an understanding of trials which will equip you to work in this increasingly important field.

You will develop knowledge and understanding of the key decisions surrounding the design, conduct, analysis and reporting of clinical trials. You will be trained to develop skills to scrutinise information, analyse critically, carry out research and communicate effectively.

Who is it for?
This self-study programme is suitable both for those wishing to gain an overall understanding of trials before moving into the field, and those who have general or specialist experience in clinical trials and aim to broaden their role in the design, management, analysis and reporting of clinical trials in high-, middle- and low-income countries.
